INTO THE FUTURE

In the future, edtech will shape not only what learners learn, but how they learn. The pedagogy will change because technology and connectivity are reshaping how we think and learn.

The business of education is also in flux because edtech assures reduced costs in materials, especially textbooks. How it will look when the dust settles is still unknown.

Training of Thought is actively seeking partnerships with commercial media, especially reality shows that share goals and target markets, to help reduce costs. Potential media tie-ins include:

  • Videos for purposes of example or for critique and analysis
  • Live interactive opportunities during broadcasts through social media with learners from other institutions
  • Discussions with reality show hosts, judges or participants

Potential reality shows include:

  • So You Think You Can Dance
  • Skin Wars
  • IdiotTest
  • Project Runway
  • Survivor
  • Brain Games
  • Ink Master
  • Intervention
  • Making a Murderer
  • Mythbusters
